Excel Soccer World Cup 2010 Planner

Welcome to our Excel Soccer World Cup 2010 Planner for the soccer/football World Cup 2010 in South Africa. This planner is a joint project of the Microsoft Excel specialists Mourad Louha, Andreas Entenmann, André Melenk and the designer Claudia Vaessen.

The idea

For some time now Andreas, Mourad and André had the idea to implement an Excel tool for planning the Soccer World Cup 2010. Everybody had therefore already developed a planner in Excel for the German Soccer League. However, implementing and maintaining a project of the size of the Excel World Cup 2010 Planner would be difficult for one person. As we all know well each other from the German Office Solution Forum „Office-Lösung“ for MS Office products, it was pretty close to make out a common application from the available partial applications. A request to the World Cup Planner Excel was not only an ergonomic navigating concept, but also a sophisticated graphical design. At this point, Claudia joined us, as she not only has an eye for color and design, but also the required skills in this area.

The planner

From our opinion, it does not make really sense and would not be professional, if we would not provide a platform for the planner. So, we simultaneously designed and developed this website; we hope you like it. Currently, the planner is available in German, English and French and the translations to more languages are in progress. This website is also available in German and French.

Finally, why are we offering the Excel World Cup 2010 Planner for free? Well, the answer is simple: soccer/football is both our hobby and we love technical and creative challenges in Excel and design.
